Mercodia Metabolic Research Award 2027

The Mercodia Metabolic Research Award is an annual international award recognizing innovative research in metabolic disease, granting €50,000 to one recipient.

By completing this form, you will enter the evaluation process. All eligible applications are assessed by an independent scientific committee. Mercodia does not influence the selection process.

Before starting the application, please ensure that you have prepared the following documents:

• Updated CV, 2–3 pages, including five selected relevant publications
• Letter of recommendation from a previous or current supervisor
• Motivation statement, maximum 1,000 wordsHosting agreement from a European institution
• One-page project description outlining the proposed use of the award funding, maximum 150 words

You will also be asked to provide a short research summary directly in the application form. This summary should give a concise overview of your current research area, main scientific contributions and relevance to metabolic disease research.
